hi~ i got a little problem with my Windows XP that i just realized last night. when i'm checking out websites and saw pictures i like, i usually right click on them and "save as" in a folder. (now before u say anything, these are not "naughty" websites ^3^ just traveling blogs and stuff) i realize last night that even thou the pictures are in .jpg form, for some reason i can only save them as .bmp form right now and it's all without a file name even thou the pictures on the website clearly have file names. every time i pull up the "save as" window, file name always become "untitle" and file type always .bmp even thou it's a .jpg file that i'm saving. and when i pull down the bar for file type, it only shows .bmp there and i can't change it to anything else.

this is of cause not that big of a problem at all but i just want to see if anyone knows anything that i can do to fix this. big thank you ahead for any suggestions ^^

You need to clear your cache on your browser.

Then, go download Firefox. IE is the devil. Smiley: grin

I'm at my computer at work, which is a Mac, so I can't quite remember exactly...

But in IE, under Tools... Internet Options is it? Anyway, you need to empty your Temporary Internet Files. That should let you save pics again in .jpg or whatever format.
