After installing DirectX9 my gamma adjustment slider does not work in Everquest at all and the picture is very dark. I have figured out how to work around this by changing the video card gamma settings outside of the game, but wonder if anyone else is seeing this and knows why?
I have updated all my video drivers, I have the latest DirectX9, so that's not it. I have the same problem with GeForce card and with Radeon. The only constant among the systems I have (four now) is that they all run WinXP.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe read my client crashing post if yer having trouble with AMD/nvidia if not I hope it works out for ya soon...
That is an inherant problem with everquest if you are in Windowed mode, no fix on the EQ side yet. If you use eqwindows you won't have that problem.
