The game : Everquest.
The problem : Complete freezing of whole computer.
Now, after playing for about 5 to 10 minutes, the game freezes up. Completely.
What's wrong? Which video port should I plug into? It's PCI card. Isn't that only for LCD screens? I don't have an LCD / Flat screen, I have the old boxy TV-types v.v
Help, if you guys pleeease can. I love EQ and I'm getting pissed about not being able to play with my graphics card (I have to unplug it and play with the computer's default card, even then I can only play for like an hour or two.. I think it may be my monitor then)

...Bump... A full week later, a full week without being able to play EQ. Someone has to know what's up.
I've narrowed it down to three problems
A)The monitor cord. It is missing 2 of the little pegs that connect into the video card.
B)The sound-card. Sony, and a previous message on this board, said it was my sound card, an AudioTek AC97. Sony said to disable to card, and try playing with the sound off. Game still froze up, and I don't know which card to remove from the motherboard for fear of breaking something v.v
C)Power supply. I don't know how to access my computer's BIOS (When it starts up, I hit F8, and Delete, but it takes me to a screen where I select a bunch of different Windows XP start-up styles (like VGA mode) but no BIOS) so I don't know if I'm meeting the right ammount of voltage for my computer, buuuut.. When I take my 3D card out, and put my monitor through my default graphics card (an S3 ProSavage) the game still freezes up, it just takes like 20 to 30 minutes instead of 5 to 10.

Could you try something a bit bizarre?
Leave the side of your computer off, and see how long you go before it freezes up.
This sounds like it might be a heat problem.

Can you please post your full system specifications? It could be that the card is not set up right under bios, could be heat, could be an underrated power supply, could be conflicting drivers with that integrated card. Can you post your debug.txt file info after a crash?
