Probably, it's hilarious.

Top Gear officially is a car show but it rarely offers any useful advice unless you're a Saudi prince with a few million in your bank account. It's really more of a comedy show with great English humour and some car facts thrown in.

And that is where you get to see the advantages of an actual winter. It's too cold for any of those creatures to survive.

Yes, it's one of the best sports ever.

Also, why do the Danish suck at that? Every single country (except for Scotland) around you is a big name in speed skating, although the Swedish have disappeared in the last decade. Norwegians: good at speed skating, Finnish: good at speed skating, Germans: good at speed skating, Dutch: good at speed skating, Swedish: used to be good at speed skating, Danish: ???

You're worse than the French at a winter sport. How is that possible?

Even Australia has a gold medal at speed skating Smiley: grinSmiley: grin

So.. euh.. rugby is pretty fun to watch...

ya the last world cup was really good

I've been to the last 3 Rugby World Cup. First in here in Australia - I saw 21 games including 2 quarters, both semis and the final (damn ENGLAND!!) Then 3 weeks in France watching at all the finals and then 2 years ago in New Zealand. We went across 3 separate weekends to see Australia play then went back a fourth time for 2 weeks for the finals.

NZ was by far the most expensive of the three. Especially as we had to pay for a ticket for my son who was under 3 months to all the games.....$3k just for his tickets to the games!!

Looking forward to visiting the UK next and then in Japan after that :)

That's shorttrack rare, diferent sport. Although there is an Australian competing as well (Jamie Greig, not to e confused with the Canadian Jamiw Gregg) and a new zealander I think.

Speaking of cold, I really wish someone would turn the AC off at my work. Anytime I get put on checkstand 2 I freeze my *** off because it's right underneath a vent. If they don't want to turn the heat on, fine but turn the ******* AC off already.

So what are you driving?

And some comparisons for Diglett: Since you said you drive a truck I'm going to assume for ease of calculations that you're driving a Ford F150 with a 5l V8 (at 360hp).
That gives you, with some 2.5 tons of weight a power to weight ratio of 165Hp per 1000kg

A Ferrari 458 Italia with 570something Hp and 1.5 tons of weight has 378.4Hp per 1000kg, the Bugatti Veyron: 522.7HP per 1000kg (1.9 tons and almost 1000hp) the 2013 Red Bull F1: ~1500hp per 1000kg guesstimate since specs aren't public but roughly 750hp and 500 kilos, there have been F1 cars in the past in the V10 era that reached about 2000hp per 1000kg.

Add in the aerodynamics differences between the cars (at least between the Ford and the supercars and the supercars and the F1 car) and, well, speed difference.

I wish our weather would stop being so ridiculous. Last week, sub-freezing and snow. Today, I was driving to work with my window open.

I've somehow mentally shifted from refusing to believe Halloween was over to being in the throes of Christmas. It's like I just skipped past November, and it's not even done yet...

Then again, our Thanksgiving holiday is really late this year, so I sort of blame that.

Either way, I'm playing Christmas music at work and my coworkers hate me. Smiley: grin
