One hour of this family affair down, and I haven't resorted to shots yet. So that's progress.

One of my guildies gets called a Satanist at family gatherings by his crazy aunt because he's a Freemason.
So, there's that. At least you're not getting called a Satanist.

lol, I perish the thought of what she'd call me, as a Wiccan. I don't even think I talk to most of my extended family about my religious beliefs. Thankfully, religion isn't something we talk about much.

Vodka is awesome. I've discovered that lime juice can fix almost any terrible vodka drink. It won't make it great, but it will at least make it drinkable.

This of course excludes any dairy-based drinks like a White Russian. Then you just get curdling, and that's not fun for anyone involved.

Well, a cement mixer is a thing, I guess, but still. People who drink that **** are weird.

Vodka is more of an alcohol delivery system than a drink.

And in all my extended family I can only think of my grandmother who goes to church regularly and my grandparents from my dad's side and an aunt and uncle who are religious enough to go to church occasionally. Othwr than that I think the rest of my family is mostly apathetic to religion so ot's not exactly a relevant topic.

My uncle converted to Roman Catholicism when he married, and they go every week. Another aunt probably goes frequently, if not every week. My mother goes every week.

Fortunately, it's a topic that rarely comes up.

So I got a new beer by Grolsch brewed by their youngest generation of brewers with a special kind of hop! Very special indeed those hops, now if only they added enough of them to affect the flavour.

Yay speed skating! Smiley: inlove

American success for the men and the women in Calgary today (men 500m winner and women's 1000m 1 & 3) and Dutch success on the 5000m for men with 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 the 5 Dutch men and the winning time the second time ever at 6:04:46, and that is secretly a little disappointing.

Edit: lots of USA success actually this weekend, the 1000m for men mirrors the womens with USA, Netherlands, USA and also silver for America on the 1500m and the team pursuit (behind a Dutch world record) for the men.

the special quality of the hops is a lack of flavor maybe?

I guess, I won't complain though because 65 cents for 2 33cl bottles of slightly above average pilsner is a pretty good deal.

My WoW account was active back in June of 2012 somehow... I remember not playing much after I moved back in with my parents back in Dec. of 2011. I just must have taken a long *** time to cancel it. So I don't qualify for a SoR by two or three months. Bah. Lame.

Is it possible you used one of those trials for MoP? That might count.

Which story are talking about? And when did they retcon it?

Garrosh goes back to stop Grom from drinking Mannoroth's blood, and alters the modern timeline so that it includes all the chieftains that died long ago, which he is attempting to unify into a new horde or something.

But the creation of the Horde makes no sense in that context.

All I want to know is, do we get to kill Gruul again?

There's also an online clothes store investing some $130 million in a new warehouse so they can start delivering on the same day in a year or two.

Amazon has been quietly trying to accomplish this with its one-day (overnight?) delivery for a while now. I sometimes get the item the same day if I order it early enough in the day, but they haven't been promoting it. I guess because they cannot guarantee it yet. Cool for me but I hate to think what it's going to do to the people at the distribution centers.

Also, good discussion you had going there on diets. PT should keep in mind that some veggies have, ounce for ounce, more protein than meat. And I think cauliflower might be one. I know broccoli is, and I think kale is.

Apparentl I love proteins because those are some of my favourite vegetables along with spinach.

Also, the distribution center they're building is supposed to be almost fully automatic to be able to haandle the speed.

Nope, because MoP has only been out since September of 2012. I'm using one now though. 9 months or a year sounds like a good place holder for a SoR. A year and a half seems a bit overkill.

But yeah, I eat broccoli and cauliflower pretty frequently. That and green beans. Those are kind of my go to veggies.

Brussel sprouts are my winter go to vegetables, very cheap and quick and easy ro prepare. Although the others arent bad either, I just don't like green beans and onions, onions suck to cut.

Brussell sprouts are gross. Then again, I don't like cabbage and a lot of people think they taste like cabbage.

Cheese on the other hand, is amazing.
