I'll probably just try and get creative with whatever meat I was using for my dinner the night before, but yeah. It's just annoying, because my routine was pretty tight in the mornings. Having to take more time to get breakfast ready wasn't welcome.
Oatmeal, dash of salt, half teaspoon cinnamon, tablespoon brown sugar, dash of vanilla (not so you taste the vanilla but to enhance the other flavors), and raisins. I like to put the raisins in at the beginning because I like them plumped up (like they are in rice pudding). If you don't like raisins, take a banana that is really ripe, black is best, and smash it up in the oatmeal and mix for excellent banana flavored oatmeal. Or, substitute maple syrup for the brown sugar, drop the cinnamon, add chopped walnuts.
Oatmeal is awesome because you can prepare it ahead of time, even the night before, and it reheats well in the microwave. If it gets really stiff add water (I usually add milk for this, but - no dairy for you!)
I can eat oatmeal every day without a problem. Also, oatmeal = fiber squared = 30 second dumps.
