It's still a bit of an adjustment that the Nets are New York.

Sorry Bud. Being older than you, I at least knew what the ultimate result would be.

Just remember, good pitching always beats good hitting. Smiley: dubious

We had good pitching! And good hitting! And fielding! We were literally leading by one or two going into the 8th/9th three of the games we lost! F'king closers ... Smiley: motz

Yeah, I know we had great pitching. I was just being the quintessential sardonic Mets fan. Good pitching beats good hitting, unless that pitcher is wearing a Mets uniform because the Mets are destined to always find a way to lose. Unfortunately, this time there was no Bill Buckner at first.

No clue. It crosses my geekfeedsâ„¢ occasionally but I'm not interested enough in the topic to investigate beyond that. In fact, before that little clip I kind of thought a Warcraft movie was a really elaborate April Fool's joke.

The 360º video where you fly over Stormwind is pretty badass, too.

It's Warcraft I, essentially. In the promotional materials the main human is King Llane Wrynn, the main orc is Durotan. The movie is supposed to depict the First War.

Disappointed by the lack of magic in the trailer, but the CGI looks pretty good.

Or Sylvanas. Sylvanas would be fine too.

Thank GOD the Jessica Jones series came out today.

So I had my tonsils out two weeks ago, which really sucked. And the day my doctor gave me approval to eat solid food, I ended up in the hospital with intense GI pain.

I am so bored.

Congratulations on surviving.

Is that a gay Trinity? Some nerds were VERY happy on Friday. This series has potential. Smiley: nod

And yeah, I lived. My GI track is still ******, but I'm alive. Turns out I might have Crohn's, which would explain a lifetime of issues. No doctor had ever tested me before, I don't think. At least it'll be a mild case, if I do.

For what it's worth, she'll probably show up in Iron Fist, if that ever gets rolling.

I broke down and got myself a Kindle and my reading has increased exponentially, back to what it was 20 years ago before I got sick of reading all day for work and found no pleasure in reading for fun any longer.

Same here. Was unsure I would like the Kindle but in the 6 years since I first bought it I have read on average a book every 2 weeks. Compared to maybe half a dozen a year or so in the years prior to buying it.

And the suitcase space saving on holidays is amazing! - Used to take 10-12 books for a 3 week holiday with me....
