I paid €16.50 for my key while it's still €39.99 on Steam. It sounds kinda shady but those sites likely bought those keys while Divinity was on sale through a Russian account (or somewhere else where prices are much lower), making the game way cheaper than you can get it in Europe or the US. The one thing I'd make sure to do is buy a steam gift and not a key because the gift is guaranteed to work when you get it.
I'm not sure I'll go that route. Besides 5 year old games are where it's at. Just about 300 hours in Mount and Blade now. Smiley: cool

Or Google will have just shut us down.

Y'know, whichever is more likely.

If you're gonna do it, let me know ahead of time, so I can do something REALLY inflammatory first.

I can give you the link where I bought it, I paid with paypal so there's some extra security there because you can almost definitely get your money back through there if the site fails to deliver.

Final bossfight was interesting though not very challenging once I figured out the tactic.

This only seems fair, I mean people have a right to earn their bans or something.

Ahh ok, well I'll keep it in mind then. I still need to finish playing out my current game before getting started on something else though. Getting closer, I'm getting my renown up to the point the King should start giving me some decent properties soon, then it's just trying to track down the right Lord to marry, staging my revolution, and taking over the world. Easy right?

He even dropped some legendary loot, but then the end credits rolled and I can't figure out how to keep playing on after he dies... I even had some unfinished quests left!

Well that's a bummer. Do you get to have earlier save points? Or is this a start over thing?

My last quicksave is with the boss at 3% but once you kill the boss the ending starts and then it goes to main menu.

Huh weird. You'd think if he dropped stuff you'd get a chance to use it somehow. Like even with a "start new game with saved character" kind of thing. Because why even have him drop anything at all at that point?

Beats me, I've tried googling it but I can't find anything. I know there's likely to be an expansion sometime in the future but it just seems odd.

It's a tiny developer though so maybe it's just one of the oddities in the game.

How hard could it be to find a nice pair of shoes for €250? You'd think not that hard but I'm struggling to find what I want. I've found a couple that I like but they are too formal to wear with jeans or some such and I'm not going to be wearing suits much so those are out and finding a nice colour, good brand and with the kind of broguing I like seems to be a difficult task.

I don't know, I picked up my most recent pair of shoes for $70 on sale. they're super comfortable, support me on a travel day with lots of travel and look nice. They're pretty minimalist though, just black and simple.

I'm not really lacking in shoes, I've already got 5 pairs I wear regularly so I'm looking for something much more specific.
Black is out because black is too formal and inflexible (black dress shoes and jeans is a disaster), I want a nice medium shade of brown so they'll go with both blue and grey suits and with more casual outfits, I also want closed lacing and preferably cap toe broguing although I'm not ruling out wingtips either, properly stitched and not glued of course and high quality leather.

Mine are loafers, but I think black loafers and jeans with a untucked dress shirt looks great.

Loafers are a little less formal but generally speaking black is the most formal colour for shoes and jeans are very casual pants so black dress shoes and jeans clash on that.

And ideally I would get something like these but I can't justify spending that much on a pair of shoes even if you assume they'll last 10+ years with good care.

As long as you aren't wearing tuxedo shoes, you're really fine. Oxfords are the most formal, but they're also the most basic. So as long as your wearing nice, dark-wash jeans, it works fine (just be sure you aren't wearing black socks).

I'll agree brown are nicer with jeans, though. But black are fine.

Though, the shinier the leather, the less they'll work with jeans.
