I think 430 is kind of close to 500.

I got curious and googled a little for highest /played times: got this link saying someone beat 1000 days/played but no proof (that would be my on my old server) and a reddit thread

I think the one number was included in the other number maybe?

I don't recall exactly what I was up to, something like 100ish days over the 5ish years.

I know back in the day I used to log onto wow, and just hover over stormwind chatting with friends while actually working on other stuff. I accumulated a lot of hours that way.

I think the person who played 365 in a year realized it was possible to make it with a month or two left and actually tried to reach that milestone. Still, only 60 days in two months, so still far too much time spent in a game for me.

I imagine they didn't think much about it and just left the game on as usual. Not really an accomplishment.

Oh, god, playing a Voidcaller Warlock deck in Hearthstone makes me want to play my Warlock in World of Warcraft again.

**** you, Warcraft franchise! Why must you keep me interested?

Oh, wow, the filter makes it look like I'm such a potty mouth.

Smiley: disappointed

I'm with you though. Stealing people's souls and sending them fleeing in terror was always a good time.

Stealing takes too much effort when most people are more than willing to sell for a nominal fee.

I've had at least a dozen or so donuts in my life, none of them were good.

The way I see it is that if you've had bad experience with a popular dish, then it doesn't count. That way you can set yourself up for a better experience and not just give up. Also avoid finding out how it's made, or many of the ingredients. That goes a long way in enjoyment.

I'm sorry, I'm stuck on the phrase "at least a dozen."

And now I might need to have a donut for lunch... I HAVE been holed up in this cafe for like 2 hours now, and there's a cafe au lait donut mocking me...

Or I could walk to Doughnut Plant...

That would be useful if I was in New York or something, I'd be happy to try some donuts there or elsewhere in the US. I just don't trust dutch people to make edible donuts because nobody cares about donuts here.

Oh, if this was a question about the Dutch's failures in the donut arena, then I suspect that might be fair.

Get to NYC and eat some donuts.

Donuts really aren't a thing outside of the US. I'd love to go to NYC sometime, not for the donuts but for everything else. I want to get my driver's license before I go to the US though.

Sullivan Street Bakery if you can help it.

And the donuts. Not "not for the donuts."

You can survive indefinitely in NYC without a license, so not really necessary. If you venture out then you might need it. Venture far enough and it becomes impossible to survive without.

I'll recommend it to my brother, he will probably be in NYC for a couple days next year.

edit: and while I wouldn't need a car in NYC I wouldn't fly over to the US just for NYC. If I'm there I would at least want to make a trip up to Vermont as well.
