Actually that's my least favorite part of the bounty hunter. Can't stand that ship.

Ship is not pleased.

Yes that one. Lose the wing thingy underneath and do something about the God-awful yellow interior and we'll talk.

My predictions about the semi finals of the women's hockey world cup somewhere else in this thread came true, America lost to Australia in shoot outs despite being the better team during the game and scoring 4 times, sort of (2-2 tie but the 2 Australian goals were bounced off an American stick and foot). In the shoot outs their inexperience and lack of skill meant they didn't have a snowball's chance in hell because it's such a high pressure situation where great technique and experience are crucial.

tl;dr: send your kids to play field hockey when they're 5 or 6 rather than when they get to high school.

You think I should give my daughter a blunt object and point her in the direction of other children?

That's my plan. Once she gets the hand of this ice thing we're arming her.

Thinning the herd, something, something.

Blunt object and shin protectors, then let her run around and whack a ball.

Once they get older they can use the stick to fend off boys.

all children should be given blunt objects and thin blades on their feet to better cope with ice at the earliest age possible

Play field hockey and go skating when there's ice. I am all for that. Smiley: grin

My wife and I don't exactly agree about how to handle this particular topic. We both want our girl to be able to defend herself in case she gets into trouble, but we're constantly at odds over the best way to do that. As I've said before, she has been taking aikido all her life and can probably break most people three times her size easily without breaking a sweat and she feels that's the best solution. I believe in flame throwers.

There was excitement in that other forum, with football and banning and such. It keeps one preoccupied!

Varus, unsurprisingly after he made some very creepy comments about Joph and Smash's kids and how they should be drinking and having sex instead of playing nerdy card games.

Hadn't Kao vowed to never let Varus back or something, last time he was banned?

The cycle continues.

I haven't been into the Asylum in at least a month.

I think I remember him coming back, though. Or suspecting it was him. But I still thought Kao had said no more.

Sooper srs.

And Wednesday it's Spain vs Chile and The Netherlands vs Australia. Spain and Australia have to win to be able to make it to the next round and the Netherlands and Chile are looking to get as close to the next round as possible.
