It's okay, we have an experiment ready to try and figure out the other thing anyway. It's always good to have reasons to do experiments, even if the reasons are annoying.

The spreadsheet doesn't explode, but you can make people explode by subjecting them to the spreadsheets. It takes specially trained professionals to endure that quantity of data. Smiley: cool

spreadsheets are the devil

use a db and write code. way better. easier to proof, check for errors, control data, manipulate data, share, less cnutpaste errors, etc, etc

Maybe he can borrow one of your drones? Or soldiers, those are probably cheaper.

Also, the German hockey men have two players with the last names Butt and Fuchs, it's providing me with much more entertainment than it should.

So if they hipcheck someone, does that make it a Surprise Butt Fuchs?

Also, Germany lost to Argentine. Germany being #2 in the world and Argentine #11. Not only a surprise but it is always a beautiful thing to see Germany lose at sports.

Edit: Hockey also has a rather small top, the difference between #2 and #11 is huge.

The program output is a text file. I right click and 'open in excel.' Maybe I'm lazy...

We actually do want to put something together to read the manufacturer's raw files directly, but figuring out the tables they have in there is a bit mind numbing. There's something like 70 different poorly annotated data tables in their file with overlapping information. It makes the head spin.

Moar hockey: Argentine vs USA women this time. USA is actually ahead, USA being a team that would probably be happy not being last and Argentine a team disappointed if they don't at least make the finals.

Also, a Chinese referee trying to communicate with an Australian video ref is a hilarious disaster, lots of repeating words.

Edit: nvm, 1-1 now.

From my understanding the US generally has a decent hockey team. Probably in a few generations our male footballers will be able to put up some kind of competition as well. Our womenfolks are pretty good though. And apparently womenfolks is spellcheck friendly, but spellcheck isn't.

I have no idea about women's football but in hockey the American women aren't a mainstay at large tournaments and certainly not a team that's relevant for the prizes. Still better than what the American men do in hockey I guess.

At the very least the crowd is rooting for the underdog and cheering USA! USA! Might be for the not so altruistic reason of hoping Argentine fails to make the semi finals as they're the strongest competitor for the Dutch women.

You obviously aren't Reddit-ing correctly. You're supposed to reply in the thread so that you can milk more of those fake internet points. But you can make up for that if you re-post it in three days.
