Oh, I know. I've already told them to not talk about me behind my back - I don't want to miss the fun.

I'm fairly certain bendy straws are the best thing ever.

Beer > bendy straws.

I dunno, butts and beer are both pretty damn great (without bendy straws anyway), it depends on which beer and which butt.

So I ordered some beer and the site I ordered from had a messup and the order got stuck in the middle of nowhere somehow. They gave me a free beard beer to compensate for the ~1 week delay it caused.

I appreciate the free beer of course but I really dislike Rogue's gimmicks, price gouging and tryhard fake "rebel" attitude, not to mention the **** poor treatment of their employees.

So two people got free beer?

Also Chris-Chan discovered to be trying to sell Sonichu fanart on EBay. 4chan found out and jacked the price up to $13,200 with fake accounts before it was taken down.

I feel more sorry for that guy than anything else.

Also, I got free beer, nobody else as far as I know. It's just not very good beer from a ****** brewery.

It comes from Newport, I'd take that for what it's worth. Free beer sounds good though, where did you order through? I might have to try that site... Smiley: lol

It's a Dutch site so they don't deliver in Oregon I'm afraid, and if they did it'd be awfully expensive to order American beer from them. Smiley: tongue
If you'd want to order fancy beers online I could point you in the right direction though.

Also, I know nothing of Newport, just that Rogue isn't exactly a shining example of a craft brewery. Here's a good post explaining why, if you care to read.

Edit: On a sidenote, the world championship hockey is in The Hague at the moment and Indians (from India, not bow and arrow) are not blessed genetically as far as looks goes. There's also one Dutch guy built like a rugby player which makes watching the Dutch men that much more entertaining.

And for those who aren't idiggory, there are plenty pretty girls in short skirts as well.

Don't, he's kind of a ****. All I feel bad about is that it's a perpetual motion machine. Both sides feed the other and it just gets bigger and bigger.

In real news, my wife wants to, for some reason, buy a rabbit. I'm going to send her this picture. Think it's a good argument?

It's eating a cherry.

Keep telling yourself it's a cherry.

Also, I think this is a good reason to get your wife a rabbit.

Newport is a small pond, Rogue is a big fish. They get to cause all the problems they want and can get away with it because they're still amongst the better job prospects in town. I mean really, it's a post boom fishing town with minimal tourist appeal.

I bet they make good appetizers. You know they're bite sized, kind of like a chicken McNugget or something.

I was under the impression that it was fairly mild, but that he played it up. But my knowledge is limited at best.

He at least made the impression of being rather dim witted and mentally off to me, as far as I've seen/heard. Trolling him is just too easy anyway, like punching an armess dude in a wheelchair.

Maybe you could try and figure out why our labeling reagents have a mystery -1 Dalton mass error.

The distribution is broad though, over several millidaltons, so we know it's not just one impurity, or at least it's not one impurity in the same location. Maybe it's something with the instrument, we don't know. Maybe it's several -1 Da mistriggers where the -1 Da shift is due to different atoms. Is it an artifact of how they are made? Are they going bad in some way? Why does everything have to be complicated?

I want to go back on vacation already. Smiley: glare
