Hey Xsarus, did you end up seeing Aladdin? I just found out the guy who plays Jafar is the original voice actor from the movie and that's bumped it way up on my list of things I want to see.

We get 4 weeks off in the summer.

And fortunately we're in the special days season right now. I'm officially on weekend tomorrow at 1 PM because of Ascension Day cutting two days off.

I'm sure we could make arrangements. I mean they grow like weeds in parts of our country; we wouldn't mind sharing some.

It's too cold for them here, global warming should solve that in 100 or 200 years though so we'll talk again by that time.

Unfortunately no, I saw pippin, avenue Q and stomp.

I enjoyed all three, although stomp and avenue Q were my favorites.

I'd like to see more, but ran out of time. I'll have to come back.

You should consider our subscription plan then. It's very affordable and you'd get free warranty replacements and repairs. Smiley: thumbsup

I loved Avenue Q. (I hope all you could think of during the Internet is for **** song was that damned Tauren AMV).

Well if there's any justice in the world, I won't be working so freaking much next time you swing through.

edit: On that note, don't come in July.

It's a shame tickets to fly across the ocean are kind of expensive, visiting NYC would be fun.

We'll be dead by then. Coincidentally, I put a clause in my will that specifies that I be buried with arm floaties and an inflatable duck inner-tube for that specific reason.

Aeroplan points.

It would require a lot less than 60,000 pints.

so for reference, travelling locally costs 15,000 points for one province over, or 25,000 points for two provinces, or most near states. (new york is an example)

saves about $400 on local travel for 15,000 points.

I can also trade 13,000 points for a $100 gas card ,which is my usual calculation for how much I'm saving.

Based on that, my round trip from amsterdam to new york would cost somewhere just above $1000

Right now just checking skyscanner gives me prices of roughly €900 for the round trip. I've seen ads for half that outside of summer though so I guess tourism is ******** with prices.

I've never checked, but I'm willing to bet Christmas/New Years season would be more expensive than summer. Probably the whole November to January range. That's about when **** really hits the fan.
