Theo getting married? What kind of shenanigans is this?

What's next? You disappear for another year and come back with a kid?

Man, magic is crazy. Wizards of the Coast released a foil Force Of Will (very highly played old card that never had foil before) for tournament judges who have certified other judges, they're selling for $1000 a piece. The normal card is about $75-100, people are paying a $900 premium for different art and shiny.

This is a card that you almost need 4 of in your deck in Legacy or Vintage, I get people wanting to pimp out their decks but it's so ridiculously expensive and transforms what is already easily $2,000-4,000 into more like $15,000-30,000.

Remember, we're still talking 75 pieces of cardboard here.

I get the reason, even the whole "spend money to make money" aspect, I just think its at the ******* insane end of the spectrum.

Ever wanted to know which breweries are near you? Cause someone made a map of the USA with all of them on it.

Not quite as crazy as the San Diego area though.

No, and Denver looks pretty awesome too. I'll still take it though, especially given how barren some of that map looks.

The barren areas are mostly areas where nobody lives and might not be so barren. I think there's a new brewery opening roughly every other day in the US so maps like these are never quite up to date.

Was thinking like some place like Mississippi that has people and no breweries. Sucks to be them.

If I recall correctly Mississippi has some ridiculously strict alcohol laws that make starting a brewery there a very bad idea. Same direction Florida is headed at the moment.

Yay, well one more reason to put Mississippi on the list of places I'd never live. Not that it needed another reason mind you, icky sticky hot and humid swamp thing that it is.

Looking it up until recently any alcohol above ~6.3% ABV (5% ABW) is sold by state controlled/licensed stores and until 1.5 years ago beer above 10% ABV couldn't be sold in the state. Wikipedia also said this "There are many dry counties in which it is illegal to possess alcoholic beverages, though some cities within dry counties have voted in beer sales." which doesn't help them much.

I think homebrewing might still be illegal as well which is the root of many small brewers.

That is the most awesome thing I've ever seen. All we get over here is Sean Puff Diddy Daddy Doody Combs whining.

Can you imagine an ad like that to motivate people to vote during the 2016 presidential elections?
