Send them as .doc and I'll correct and grade them for you.

the use of .doc files is evil and every time you use one some kills a puppy

No, .docx is the devil. Besides, I wanted to write .odt, but I'm guessing only a few select people know of the superiority of open source software.

Home sweet home again, thank god the flight was short because there was a fat guy next to me and a crying baby behind me.

Scotland was fun though, lots of fun.

You should have fed the baby to the fat guy. Everyone wins.

It would've made the fat guy even fatter though and he'd have been in my way even more.

He wouldn't have gotten fatter instantly. Come on, be realistic. There would be no immediate downside.

Crying babies are fine if they aren't yours. You just give a sympathetic smile while thinking to yourself "yay this isn't my problem to deal with!" Smiley: nod

With no way to escape the noise it's still your problem though. Although thankfully the kid fell asleep after 10-15 minutes or so.

My experience of everything, ever, anywhere, is that crying baby's are exactly everyone else's problem, because the parents never seem to be fazed by it.

The chances of me being able to get into the city are super slim (otherwise, I'd have offered to buy you a drink; you couldn't come in any other week?). Smiley: frown

That's why I only fly first class.

Which is probably why I rarely fly.

I wish I had time for cramming. This has been all stuff that's due, not just studying.

Probably should have started that earlier then. Smiley: tongue

Not that I did better when I was a student, just saying that if you can get 8 hours worth of sleep before an exam it'll be worth it.

I used to be an examinee like you. Then I took a teaching degree...

Now the examinee has become the examiner.

Smiley: frown unfortunately this is when the concerts are. This is the last year however, they won't be doing the series again, which I think is a shame, as it's pretty cool.
