Smørrebrød is an open faced sandwich. A translation would be "smeared bread". A proper smørrbrød sandwich is constructed on a base of sourdough rye bread.

Frikadeller (there's no 'n' in it, by the way) are... well, it's hard to explain, but sorta-kinda like meatballs.

Smørrebrød are usually translated as open faced sandwiches. Basically a single slice of rugbrød (Danish rye bread) with a lot of food piled on top. The image I posted is if the bread with butter, mustard, frikandeller (Danish meatballs), cucumber and dille.

Also, the Dutch have frikandellen and it's habit to type the n since the words are so similar (the foods are not though).

And cynyck, the link is an image of a mighty fine looking pair of buns. No trickery and they're wrapped in underwear.

What mount?

[EDIT]

"Garrosh mount" on google brought up things that made me want to gouge my eyes out.

Yeah, not a fan, but at least the heroic-ness of it means that not a ton of people will have it. I can accept it as a rare mount, I'd hate if everyone had one. And I guess I wouldn't mind it for a Goblin?

There was one warwolf mount that popped up on the google search that I was hoping it was.

To be fair, the more ridiculous steampunk technology stuff has always been stuff I begrudgingly tolerated, not enjoyed. I really don't like the super warmachine refocus that we've been seeing.

The mount is a miniature version of one of the bosses. I honestly couldn't care less if it was a giant pink flamingo, I would be riding it until the next expansion.

And Digg, this whole super warmachine focus thing is mostly because of one individual working for Garrosh, who we killed. I wouldn't really expect to see it much more.

Signs point to the Iron Horde maybe using a bit of it next expansion, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Also, part of the reason I'm so damn thrilled we finally killed the boss was the amount of time spent on him. Our first kill of the previous boss was mid February, and we haven't reset the instance since.

It was 490 attempts total.

Yeah, congratulations, Fishy! An achievement, no doubt.

Few mounts make me care enough to use them. I kinda like the juggernaut, but being a Druid, I don't really use mounts outside of dungeons and such.

Crow form was fun. I'd perch on rooftops in Dal or someplace and just watch people, Naxx was a good place too. Then I got fast flight and it kind of ruined everything. Smiley: frown

The next big thing, basically. Whatever the next step forward from WoW turns out to be. Possibly EQnext, it's certainly the most promising MMO I think.

For sure. I have my doubts there will ever be a "next big thing" in MMOs though. The market is so fragmented nowadays it'd be quite the coup to actually pull off the next WoW. If Elder Scrolls becomes another 2nd tier MMO that's mildly popular and running a small but tidy profit it'll only cement that feeling more for me. They're probably the one remaining current series that had a chance to pull it off in my mind. Best looking for something that has some of the features you'd want and hoping for the best, try out a few games and go from there.

In lieu of that, you should go play D3 with Xsarus.

I've played tons of D3 already, less than zero interest in returning to that. As for the next big thing, I doubt anything will explode like WoW did but then again that kinda came from nowhere as well and there hasn't been an MMO of similar quality since.

With ESO I'm more surprised that it hasn't crashed and burned yet than anything else.

The one thing ESO has going for it is that it seemed to get such a bad review and lowered people's expectations from the get go, so it won't be hard to beat them in the long run. As opposed to SWTOR which never got out from under the weight of it's own pre-launch propaganda machine.

"Hey this game isn't as horrible as they said it was" vs. "How many hundred million spent on this and it still has bugs?"
