The stuff we're usually hunting for bargains on though are baby/kid clothes related.
Kids are still growing so fast they need an entire new wardrobe every year?
Yup, to make matter worse the little one seems to be catching up with the big one, meaning hand-me-downs don't always work as well as we'd like. Smiley: lol
At least they're not old enough yet where they have to pick out their own clothes yet?

Yeah, I was reading an article on Black Friday deals, and basically they had analyzed sale data from 2008 until now and found that the only items that go on sale on Black Friday which actually are the best deals you can get year round, are on electronics. Mostly the gaming consoles.

On the other hand, no one buys their Christmas gifts in March, and you tend to make far more purchases in December, due to gifting.

So Black Friday can seem like a big deal, when it means saving $300+ to get all your gifts.

This was the first year I went out, and that was only to hang with friends. Bargain shoppers are the worst people, ever.

To be 100% honest, it was generally a better experience, everywhere, than going to CostCo on a Saturday.

And that includes Walmart during the doorbuster period (because I was out of coffee).

I mean, I'm not even splitting hairs here. It was a pleasant experience comparatively.

This is why I buy loose leaf tea...

Seriously, what is wrong with people? There's dozens of different stupid fruity flavoured teas, all trying to be even more ridiculous than the next. I want tea that tastes like tea, not strawberry cupcakes!

The top three I can understand, they're still reasonable and make sense. The bottom three look ridiculous and stupid. Utterly ******* stupid and the people who thought of it as well as those who buy it should be shot for ruining tea for everyone.

Honestly, I'm just assuming that they're a strawberry and a blueberry tea, and the rest is marketing.

My mother loves the one on the bottom left, lol.

No, because they sell strawberry and blueberry tea as well.

There's literally about 100-150 different kinds of tea in the supermarket and maybe 3 of those are not flavoured with **** other than tea. All 3 of which are the cheapest, ********* brands that don't actually taste like tea but more like the paper bag it comes in.

I had to get tea since I was out of all tea and I can't get new tea until Tuesday so I ended up settling for "Sencha" with rose petals. Yeah, not Sencha, I know and love Sencha and this is nothing like it. At least it's in the fancy pyramid bags so it doesn't taste like paper and dirt.

Did I mention that I like tea almost as much as I like beer?

Edit: Oh, and by the way: ingredients for my sencha: 89% tea, 1% rose petals, 9.3% flavourings (and 0.7% mystery stuff, I guess?). Almost 10% of the tea is artificial @#%^ing flavouring added to something that should have tons of delicious flavours on it's own. Smiley: motzSmiley: madSmiley: motz

Edit 2: it's also 36g and at €1.45-1.55 per box that makes it €4.03-4.31 per 100g, that's more than the cheaper loose leaf teas that are of much higher quality.

I got a Mango tea at Jack and the Box a few months back, after drinking nothing but unsweetened tea for the previous four months. It was one of the most vile, oversweetened pieces of **** I had ever tasted. I let it sit for about two hours, letting the ice melt. Once it got watered down some it was drinkable. Once you stop eating refined sugar (or severely reduce the amount), it's crazy how much your taste buds change. I used to hate unsweetened tea, now I can't stand it sweetened. Hell, I've been trying to drink Powerade Zero the last couple days because I'm sick, and it tastes ridiculously sweet too.

I prefer unsweet, but you don't say no when someone offers you a sweet iced tea down here.

You just don't.

And I didn't know not drinking sweet tea means you're gay.

Which character did you get to 90 Dig? The next toon that hits 90 for me is my frost mage.

Also, I'm pretty annoyed that to buy any valor gear besides a neckpiece, you have to hit friendly with a raid faction. I saved up to get a new trinket, got all excited, and then realized I couldn't purchase said trinket because I don't have the faction's rep past neutral. And it's the middle tier raid too, so it takes a while to get your gear high enough to even be able to run that raid in LFR. Bah.

That was... wow. That was fast, digg.

And Pigtails, it's better to just go to the Timeless isle and farm items there, then use the VP for upgrading. Unless you were doing Shado-Pan Assault for the story?
#2546 Dec 01 2013 at 8:14 PM Rating: Good
And also, you people need to add my Battletag since you're actually playing the game now. Why is this a thing that hasn't happened yet?

No, I just really needed new trinkets because when I hit 90 I was still using my Firelands trinkets. I figured VP would be the fastest way to do it, since that's how it's always worked. I don't like this concept of needing rep to use my VP. The upgrading system is kinda cool though.
