I can only play sc2/minecraft and listen to trance/techno/electronica that was once pvp music so long before this itch comes along and I snuff it out.
Should I come back for cata for some rawking pvp style on my dk, or finally being able to pvp on my 70 pally twink or is dr00d all sorts of fandazzling fun again.

Not to derail, but speaking of Eclipse, is anyone else having issues remembering which spells to use? I mean, it's easy once the rotation is going and you swing from Solar to Lunar constantly, but on fast fights, where you get stuck halfway to the other side of the bar, I sometimes forget what I'm supposed to be casting.

Yeah I forget sometimes too, but I usually will only cast one or two of the wrong spell before I notice and then go back to the right one. =x It probably hurts dps a bit, just from the standpoint that you're delaying your eclipse, but I doubt it makes a huge difference.
You should definitely come back Arex, boomkin is really fun. Plus there's so many changes that have been made to talents for every class, and the quests and zones, you'll get lots of entertainment.

For my kitty, I don't really need it, but have it there for when I feel like zoning out a bit. For my other 9 80's who all have dual-specs, I don't think I could cope without it! Especially with all the changes that have just occurred.

New talents and such
Balance rotation seems like its actually fun.

DK is apparently going to be horribad in pvp again.
Possible server transfer of three toons because I won't stay on boulderlawl mainly because I want to pvp.
My cons atm outweigh the pros. Mainly the cost of getting back into wow, and the whole, you know... Telling my wife!
I just want to ******* pvp, its fun and all when i just **** stomp someone in sc2 but the amount of smack talking I can do over vent to my buddies while i'm el oh eling someone is pretty limited in sc2.
I shall debate for a few more days, and let you all know my final decision.

Actually leveling is rather enjoyable atm. There's a lot of people around at the lower levels, and the world is new again.

Took me just a little bit to get my hands used to it all again but since blizzard did this nifty "stream the patch while you play" thing I was able to start messing around. My dk is super fun to pvp with thats for sure, and the whole new rune system is taking some time to get used to, but so far I'm glad to be back.
I do realize though that I need to leave my server. The gm now was someone I used to raid with all the time at the end of BC and all of wrath and he didnt even say anything to me when I logged.
On tap today when I get a little break from work and school. Log onto my druid and playzorz with the lazorz. Then start the long process of UI reconstruction and addon downloading. Which leads me into this.

Pitbull for unit frames, Grid for raid frames, Dominos, some combination of SBF/PowerAura/other DoT tracker and Align. Those should get you far enough along to be functional. Can work in map stuff and other toys after.

No, pitbull.
Pitbull for unitframes, all of them, Dominos for bars, sexymap for map (however bloated it might be) ForteXorcist for cooldowns, recount/omen of course and fubar or titanbar to tie up loose ends.
Oh and I forgot SBF and MSBT.

Seriously, Dominos and Bartender do exactly the same thing. The only difference being that Dominos manages to do it with a lot less resources, which for someone like me with a craptastic computer, actually makes a difference for fps.
I use ouf for my raid frames, and the Nivaya layout. I'm not going to say it's just as good as pitbull, because I honestly don't know. But it works great for me, I don't have to bother with trying to figure out how to customize stuff cause it's already been done for me, and it uses very little resources.
Arex, a couple add ons you might find useful are Eclipse Bar Plus (especially if you tweak your UI at all) and Boomkinator, which puts up the icons of the spell rotation and lights them up when you should be casting them. It's pretty helpful to remind yourself when you should be casting wrath/starfire and shows timers on when your dots are going to come off of your current target, as well as your starsurge, force of nature, and starfall CDs.

As for now I'm just leveling my dk up to 85 atm. Hit 81 last night. I might give him a break to work on my paladin so I can mine the new ore. Having to level Eng on 3 toons, BS and JC is gonna require a whole lot of ore.

Necro Warning: This post occurred more than thirty days after the prior, and may be a necropost.
How is Balance OP? I'm consistently at the top of the DPS charts in our 10 man, but I'm also one of the better geared DPS too. I don't out DPS people be huge amounts, and I am nowhere near 25k dps (neither is the other boomkin in the group). I don't know, it's going to take a lot more than two boomkins in the 2 and 3 position on a dps chart to convince me that we're OP. :-p
It's the fact of where they are on the chart combined with the discrepancy between them and everyone else in such an elite guild.
Note: I'm ok with OP. Everyone has their heyday, and I'm not one to go all green-eyed just because it isn't my class or spec.
