People already whining..Follow

Well tbh, Cataclysm does focus and balance a bit around rated battlegrounds, and that's exactly what this spell is for. We can now wait and lay and ambush at choke points.
I do agree with you that alot of the called out nerfs are just nonsense, there aren't many occassions I see that this can be useful in. (Except for the above and; feign death + camo = "Hey he died, and now he just released, DERP") But it's a sh*tload of fun for hunters in open world pvp, and for soloing crap stuff. 2 expressions with human excreta mentioned in one sentence would be overkill.

In the end, people are just jealous and don't permit others to have cool spells.

Then again, I don't know much about the ability itself and what it entails other than giving the ability to go into stealth...

It's really not that great, unless you stand still your not technically in stealth so they can still see you. You aren't affected by targeted range but you can be knocked out by melee and aoe. There used to be a bug that allowed you to never be knocked out but I believe that has since been fixed. It also used to grant some extra power on your next attack but that was taken out too.

It also can't be used in combat so it's pretty much used once in arena before it can't be used again, well for horde at least. NE could use it again with shadowmeld. So it's really not all that powerful in pvp or pve, it just provides a bit of survivability for hunters, in the early going that is.
