•Prayer of Healing: A powerful prayer that heals the friendly target's party members within 30 yards for 3633 to 3837 (up from 3027 to 3197)

•Divine Aegis: Critical Heals and all heals from Prayer of Healing create a protective shield on the target, absorbing 30% of the amount healed. Lasts 12 sec.

•Power Word: Barrier: Summons a holy barrier on the target location that reduces all damage done to friendly targets by 30%. While within the barrier, spellcasting will not be interrupted by damage. The barrier lasts for 10 sec (Duration down from 25).

•Grace: Your Flash Heal, Greater Heal, Heal and Penance spells bless the target with Grace, increasing all healing received from the Priest by [4%] 8%. The effect will stack up to 3 times. Effect lasts 15 sec. Grace can only be active on one target at a time. (Up from [2%] 4%)

GC discusses the changes here.

PoH: Cool, I guess.

Divine Aegis: Cool too, I guess. Do note that it proccing from normal PoH hits isn't really something uberly awesome - if it doesn't crit in the first place, the placed shield will be extremely weak. Still, guess it's something. Definitely not enough to fix our mastery though.

PW:B: That sh*t is tight. Already said so earlier. No complains here, this was needed and it's an excellent change.

As for Grace...

That is all I have to say to that. By buffing Grace they're only further pushing it into a must-have talent, limiting our spec options even further.

Edit: And hooray, again my link is ruined thanks to ****-poor Zam censorship. Blame the admins for that one.

So we'll have a lovely big bubble that works a bit like pain suppression in damage reduction, with that nice bubble bonus of uninterrupted casting for the full 10 secs? I shall be making plenty of use of that, in both PvP and PvE.

One less use for disc mastery. I don't suppose we'll be stacking that so much.

Grace is becoming our Eclipse. Which is not a good thing. The only part I like about it is that is relatively easy to keep on a tank with Smite based healing.

Also with the PoH change mastery becomes better as DA procs will go up in AoE damage situations even with low crit rates.

I have been playing with mastery on live and actually like it to be honest.

It does seem a bit lackluster. I specifically gemmed and enchanted for it on my premade priest, and for disc I didn't really feel I noticed it. PW:S's currently absorbing for 12.000 damage, with me being on approx 1400 mastery rating, which translates into rougly 8 additional mastery (you start off with 8 for free), which means roughly 40% additional absorption.

I guess I might need to activate recount to get a better idea about to what extend mastery benefits me (as there's not really any way to 'notice' its effect on Divine Aegis without maths), but it does seem somewhat weak - I actively notice the holy mastery due to the sole reason that it procs of every goddamn thing. Heck, your Renew TICKS apply it. Yes, you read that right, we've got a HoT's healing ticks applying a HoT that also has multiple ticks.

It seems to me that they are trying to make Disc healers more viable as raid healers. I would rather they just improved on making Disc Tank healing and focus on Holy as the Raid healer spec. I could be wrong about the direction I see the trees going in, and if that's not what they're focusing on I suppose I'll have to test some things out and rethink my play style.

I'm pretty sure that it's Divine Touch that gives you Echo of Light when you cast Renew.

It's both. As it is now, Echo of Light procs seperately of every 'tick' of healing that pops on anybody.
