New fire rotationFollow

Hey all. So with the new changes to fire, what is the current rotation or priority system? I can't seem to find anything definitive in this. Can anyone post ideas or links?

Thanks!

I'm having best results with the following:

Raid Trash:

Living Bomb on three things, scorch the tank's target, Blastwave, Flamestrike, Dragon's Breath, Cone of Cold, followed by fireballing and Hot Streak Pyros till dead.

On Bosses, it's mainly keeping Living Bomb up, Scorch, Fireball and Hot Streak Pyros.

For things that need to be hit hard (typically bosses), I go with Mirror Image+Trinket+Berserking (assuming you have a Troll), Living Bomb, Scorch, Frostfire Bolt (With the glyph for the DoT), Normal Pyro, and Combustion, followed by Fireballs.

I don't know how great it is, but following this strategy I'm doing something right as I always lead the raid in damage.

Pre-cata (so for the next month):

Priority system for single targets:

Critical Mass (either by scorch or instant pyro)
Living Bomb
Instant Pyroblast
Fireball

If you have all 3 dots up put up combustion to get some more damage out of it (although currently pyroblast! dot does not work with impact or combustion on live, but it works properly in beta).

For our current gear levels and amount of mastery that we have available to us, it isn't worth reforging into mastery or using the FFB dot.

That's really about it. Come cata fire will be severely neutered and will take a big change in how it is played with a mana conservative rotation, which people are still trying to work out.

...But Arcane should look to mastery if you have hit Cap, 33% Crit, and either Haste or Spirit to reforge - right?

Cause I only have about 27% crit - i reforged to get about 3.7% additional Mastery (Which takes you to the range of 11.7% master when you add in the 8% "natural" master at 80....) and my DPS went down significantly. Now I wasn't raid buffed or Potted, but we're talking a few 1,000 DPS...

I guess i need to just hop into the weekly and see what I get w/ 10m buffs and food/pots.

Yep, mastery just isn't fire's best stat, where it is a very good stat for arcane. I reforged my haste gear into mastery and kept my crit relatively high.

should give you a real look at my character (as the armory isn't updated yet).

I believe crit to 33% raid buffed is enough, but don't quote me on that for arcane.
