Vanilla petsFollow

So with Cata soon upon us and the changes to due for Azeroth (plus the extra stable space for my pets now), I decided to go out and find and tame the GhostSaber, just in case its not an option once the changes kick in.
I already have the Kurken core hound, and Im planning on picking up the other core hound elites.
What I wanted to ask is are there any other cool tameable beasts in Azeroth that it would be worth picking up before they may go for good?
I started playing in BC so forgive me if im asking a very old question, its just all people talk about nowadays are the spirit beasts.
Im generally looking for quite rare, or elite styles, but am interested in peoples opinions on what is worth keeping anyway.

Strider Clutchmother is gone, but the skin lives on in the Swamp of Sorrows. Same is true of all other pet skins--the ones that are vanishing are being added back in elsewhere. So if there's a *specific* creature you want, go for it, but don't worry about disappearing skins.

I believe the only skin removed so far on the beta is one that was also *added* on the beta.
