Yea was running H.HoR on my Hunter with a "fine" group. We killed the 2nd boss (yea I don't remember name) and as we were looting him/the other bodies it popped up on screen.

I discussed this with another DK in my guild, but I just want some more thoughts.
Below you can get to my armory.
My question is, should I do the quest on my DK and get the 1h Sword?
It is either use it on my DK, or do the quest on my Warrior who is nearing 80 (77 atm). And if able, I'd pick the Mace; Cudgel of Furious Justice or the 1h sword (mace seems better for tanking?).
I question it about my DK because I have bad luck. It seems every time I drop gold for something big (I fell like I wasted frost emblems getting the P.S Ore needed for the crafted boots. I had them made, replaced the next night with boots from ICC), it gets replaced within a week -.-
I don't want to waste the hilt.

Unless something changed, you won't get a mace out of the hilt if your class can use swords.
I'd consider it a big, huge, massive waste if you'd have the DK complete the quest. Hell, you have access to ICC25, so how could you even consider that?
I'd either sell the darn thing or keep it for the warrior. Especially if you're keeping Prot as your main spec, you'll be glad to have at least one decent piece for your dps gear. After all you'll be at the bottom of the feeding order when it comes to dps stuff.
Using a 1-h for tanking with your warrior isn't really an option either since you'll be chasing the defense cap rather than just putting a fancy rune on it to make it viable.

Right now, on my server, it's worth 8k gold. Sure, the weapon might be neat, but the moment you get an upgrade, that's 8k out the window. Sell it, if nothing else, you'll need the money in Cataclysm.

As it goes I'm in a good guild. We help each other out when needed.
I plan to bug them, and then be carried trough some Heroics (ToC, ICC 5 Mans) for hopeful gear drops (On my warrior that is).
