People suprised to see a bear.Follow

Nope. Not a single group has said anything or dropped group due to me being a bear...

In fact, most groups don't really say anything at all, other than replying to my intial "hi."

As for the whole warrior, etc getting aggro because of constant crits from whirlwind, I usually just faceroll my swipe ability and it does the trick. =P

idiggory, my Druid produces 6-7k TPS on single target fights in heroics, but he's pretty well-geared compared to my DK (whom I deleted so I could level up another with a guildy, by the way).

The 7k DPS was from the standard ST Blood rotation, yes.

People don't kick me from heroics anymore either. Though I did have one guy go ******* on me with "zomg tank only has 16k health?!" because I had accidentally hit "Birthday Suit" in Outfitter. Smiley: lol

When you walk around with over 52k health unbuffed, people couldn't care less what class you are.

On a sidenote, in one of the movies on MMO-champion from the beta, a hunter had over 46k hp.
In PvE gear.

Not very special PvE gear. I'm guessing relatively close to my hunter, who's at about 20k hp right now.

46k health and the beta is still locked at 83 or so, right?

I know they said that the stamina difference between tanks and DPS will be minimal (if it still applies), but I can't help thinking about my Druid having 100k unbuffed in Bear form at level 85.

It makes me feel funny in my pants.

I think I already get past 80k fully buffed in ICC.
If stamina almost gets doubled, which it looks like from that video a really good geared druid will reach well above 100k, maybe even 150k.. or 200k with cooldowns in ICC after 4.0.

200k health makes me sort of see why Improved Leader of the Pack was removed.

Still, why do Death Knights get to keep Death Strike? 15% is way more than the 4% ILotP returns.

200k is like healing Valithria.
And how much hp do heroic bosses have again?

I've seen a bear pop Survival Instincts and crack 100k. Not sure if he was wearing a "stam" set or not but it was funny to see.

I did ICC10 a couple of nights ago and pushed 105k with SI up. That's with the 25% bonus, though, so if someone is pushing 100k outside of ICC, that's impressive.

Edit: With Kings, Fortitude and Blood Pact or Commanding Shout, I've got some 60k health while running heroics. I've had numerous healers comment it when I then pop SI. And I run with one armor trinket, so I'm losing out on a good 2k health.

I've hit over 90k in heroics when using trinkets.
Pretty sure that fully buffed and without the ICC buff I reach over 100k hp with trinket and SI.

I don't think sitting at 100k is even possible outside of ICC, even in BIS gear all stam gemmed. But it's awesome being a bear in ICC, I sit at around 86k hp fully buffed without trinkets or cooldowns!

I managed to get Rawr to a touch over 80k with trinkets popped but no SI or ICC buff (but including the random dungeon bonus).

With the ICC buff that comes to over 99k without SI!

I want the Organ for my Druid. Smiley: frown

Armor is good and all, having 35k of it without procs is nice, but I could really use about 2k health as well, just to put me at 50k unbuffed at least. Speaking of which, anyone want to get me to 2.2k in Arena so I can get my BiS EH weapon?

Im a boomkin at heart but ive been a bear back when wrath was new and I tanked 10 and 25man naxx and I was half descent but some of the best tanks ive grouped with have been bears.

A good example of this is I was pugging LFD and got UK the other week and we got a bear half way though the 5 man I type in chat ““so ever get the feeling your been boosted”” and that’s just what it felt like ive only ever seen the tank top the dps meter twice one was this bear the other was a DK and I put out 4k dps without crits so I never under estimate bears they make a 5man in to easy mode.

Back when I was Kitty and only had a true DPS set of gear and a semi-tank set of gear, running 5-mans was fast and on the edge! I only had some 36k health in Bear form in my DPS gear, but I had 1k armor penetration and could push out 8k DPS on Berserk. I would top the DPS meter as well as tank the place. It made the healers nervous, though, because even though I ran with a tank spec and tank glyphs, I still lacked a lot of effective health and keeping me alive was pretty much like keeping a 4k GS tank alive.

Still, we blew through them heroics. Now that I've converted to Fluffybear, I'm only pushing some 3-4k DPS on trash and 2-3k single target, which makes me sad. On the plus side, with all the relevant buffs in a 5-man, I have 60k health and healers fall asleep during runs now.

I put on all my dps gear in 5 man so healer doesn't get bored, minus boots so I have runspeed in bear.

Sometimes it's the only way we get through in a timely fashion, it still amazes me how terrible dps can be.

i could get close to that with pre ICC gear, witch was when i quit wow. that drooid prolly had a stam set on to get there tho.

i still recall my 1st main tank job in naxx, back in the day, when someone yelled "what hunter let their pet get loose??"
to witch the raid leader, we dont have any hunters in the raid, thats just aver..."

fun times

or, doing one of the burning crusade raids for giggles and achievments, having ~120k hp buffed (dunno how we did it), and being whispered "im quitting tanking cos of you" from warriors, the healers loved me for some reason...
