Enh 2pc and 4pc Tier 10Follow

The Shaman forums at Elitist Jerks should have some good information on the tier 10 2 and 4 set bonuses. I don't run Enhance, so wouldn't be able to provide anything insightful. Also, there are some excellent spreadsheets for analysis in the Theorycraft Think Tank section for all Shaman specs for equipment analysis.

I love the set bonuses for the enhancement tier 10 set. When I've looked through the loot lists for ICC I really haven't seen much that I would replace a set piece for let alone consider giving up my bonuses. Most of the generic mail non-caster gear is itemized for Hunters and full of armor penetration which doesn't help enhancement Shammys much because it only benefits our melee damage since our spell damage ignores armor already. Haste is our most desired stat right now once you have reached the hit and expertise caps.

While Elitist Jerks has great information, I found that another way to get an idea of what gear and stats to go for is to use a gear ranking site to look up the top ranked enhancement Shammys on my server and see what gear they are using and how they are gemming it and what their melee dps stats are. I especially look at ones who I know are in the top raiding guilds. This gives me a better working knowledge of the gear available and how the best are using it than just checking a best-in-slot list of items.
