#1 May 22 2010 at 12:44 PM Rating: Decent
Right now my Druid is at 75 and will soon be 80. I have done some research and I can not find a good boomkin PVE DPS rotation. If it is on a sticky here please let me know and I will hunt for it. If not then any suggestion will help Thank you in advance

There isn't one. You use a sort of priority system based on your eclipse procs and DoT timers.

Read this.

From EJ

Spell Rotations

The Short Version

Start by applying Moonfire and Insect Swarm. Whenever either of these falls off of your target, reapply it.
Cast Wrath until until a Lunar (Starfire) Eclipse procs, then switch to Starfire. Cast Starfire until a Solar (Wrath) Eclipse procs, then switch back to Wrath.
Repeat this Eclipse cycle, always keeping your two DoT's on the target and using Starfall and Force of Nature on cooldown.

edit: hm,methinks idiggory beat me to it :D

You're leading into boss fights wrong.

You queue up treants, drop them about a second before combat starts near the boss.

FF the boss.

Hit starfall

MF

IS

Wrath to proc eclipse.

Reason you do it this way is you need to hit cap yourself first, then starfall crits will proc NG causing wrath to come out faster which means a quicker launch into your lunar eclipse rotation.

Thank you all for the input. Was expecting to get flamed here on the druid forums. My main is a Rogue and I very rarely ask questions on that forum. My druid is my first caster/healing toon so I am new to spell rotations. But once again thank you. this has helped raise my DPS a bit

While it's always a good idea to check stickies before asking a question, this forum is unlike any other class forum out there.

Primarily because we're drunkards.

Hey, us priests are even more friendlier.

Because we're nice people. Except Aethien, he's mean.

But the druid forum is awesome in either case, awesome enough for me to hang out here for no reason whatsoever.

Oh! I actually played my druid today.

Of all the class forums, the Druid one gets more off-class posters than any other. :P

This. Because not only are we friendly drunkards - we're also very awesome.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, idiggory.

He is, after all, Aethien...

He just pressures the (until then) happy forest-population into letting him feel "welcome".
