Hello am looking to see when i should replace my wep

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Arathor&cn=Fallenswords

Should i replace it with more wep dmg and take the hit from the loss of stam?

or should i wait till i can find one with more stam on it?

I'm assuming you are a tank? What spec are you?

Is that the weapon you are using now, or one you are looking to upgrade to?

The sockets on that make it very powerful, if you can spare the cash for NR blue gems.

You can upgrade that axe to the Axe of Frozen Death, an excellent weapon, by doing a quest chain in Borean Tundra. It should be superior to the axe you linked even if you used 3 Epic Strength gems, because it has a much higher average damage (427 on the AoFD as opposed to 317 on the Crow Wing Reaper).

If you are asking if you should upgrade TO the axe you linked, then we'd need to know what you are using now.

You don't have threat issues using that axe? If you do, switch to Frozen Death.

But, since you are 75, I HIGHLY advise you try and get guildies/a group to help you get the De-Raged Waraxe. It's way more threat than you have now for a very small drop in Stamina. Plus, the Parry you get from that Str is better than the small amount of Dodge you get from Agility.

I wouldn't stress threat or stamina at that level too much. Neither are really major issues in that content. The axes linked are both decent upgrades in one way or another (esp. the Waraxe) so grab one if you can. If not, no big deal. Just keep your eye on the prize and get to 80.

edit: Also reconsider Rage of Rivendare. Expertise is hot-sauce.

Another question if you don't mind

what type of stats should i aim for to tank toc normal and the icc normals i seen they have alot of nice starting gear and would like to start them when i ding 80 but as a tank it may be hard.

Also looking at Sigils and i think i will go with Sigil of the Unfaltering Knight is this a good idea it seems better then all the others but i could be wrong

Use a threat sigil, imo, and then pick up the Sigil of Insolence ASAP.

It's hard to say what kind of stats you want for those. They may be regs, but the incoming damage is much higher than normal ones. You certainly won't be doing them until 80, as the system won't place them into it.

If you can tank a "normal" heroic, like Gun'Drak, you can tank them.

Dungeon difficulty kinda looks like this:

Regulars > Heroics = Reg ToC-HoR > ToC > ICC5 (in order).

So just work along that line.

So i should get Sigil of Virulence first then get Sigil of Insolence also do you think with the Sigil and Clutch of Fortification I could start with toc in my gear?

If you intend to build your DpS first, get Virulence. If you plan to tank, get Insolence.

If you aren't sure, get Virulence.

As to what content you should be doing, it depends. If you want to DpS, you can go straight into random heroics (preferably after putting together a crappy DpS set from quest rewards). And, if you ask the tanks if you can roll on the drops, most of them will outgear the instance and let you.

If you want to tank, it's hard to say. I wouldn't advise going into them until you have 25K health, and you need to be comfortable holding threat. You could probably do Reg ToC fine, but it'll be harder than the other 80 regulars (HoL, HoS). It's only slightly easier than heroics though. I advise trying to ramp up your health before doing it.

Leveling your JC up would be great--grab a Monarch Crab and the Ruby Hare. Put +30 Stam gems in the Hare, and a +30 Stam and +15 Stam/[Hit or Defense] gem in the other.

This will give you 239 more stamina, as well as a Defensive CD.

You can replace them with Essence of Gossamer or the Black Heart (which will last you for a loooong while, unless you are really lucky with raid drops). Naturally, you should replace the Hare first. I'd also probably keep the Crab over the Essence.

Plus, JC will give you an extra 63 Stam from using Dragon Eye's Gems. And getting mining to cap will give
you 50.

So, just capping your professions will give you a total of 352 Stamina. That's a ton, especially considering you won't even have to enter an instance.

Do you have other toons at cap? What factions have they gotten exalted for? Shoulder and head enchants are BoA now, so you can send them to your DK if they're on the same server. Otherwise, you want to get Sons of Hodir and Argent Crusade rep up ASAP. These are worth 37 Stam, 35 Defense rating and 20 Dodge rating.

Also look into the Tempered Titansteel gear.

few more gear questions

1. would Seal of the Pantheon be better then Figurine - Ruby Hare for a starting tank am guessing the hare for more stam at the start then the def one later when i have more hp is that right?

2. Would the Titansteel Destroyer and Durable Nerubhide Cape be worth making this later in wrath?

thanks for the help ^^

1. If it lets you free up Defense gems for stam ones, then it is better. Otherwise, keep the Hare.

2. The TTSD is an awesome weapon that you'll use for quite a while--go for it. I wouldn't bother with the cape, but you can if you want.

Larger bosses will stay in place, as the ghouls create a stationary ring around him. Smaller ones, though, often have your ghouls moving to try and hit him/get behind, so their taunts make him move after them.
