I just started going into battlegrounds and have found that ,no surorise, I get killed a lot. The class that I have a lot of trouble with is locks. I often can get away from the plate classes, unless I am 1 shot, but that doesn't work on locks. Any hints, or just get more used to the fun of dying?

Thanks

Get resilience. Seriously, do.

Except you'll still get 2-shot by warlocks. Because they are warlocks. It's not you, it's them.

Get resilience, stack haste. Find warlock, dispel the **** out of them, DOT the rest of the **** out of them, ????, profit.

Hopefully. We casters were never succesful warlock fighters.

As an additional tip, you can shield yourself from their puppy eating your buffs by throwing useless stuff on yourself. The downside is that you have jack-all useless buffs in shadowform. Throw on an early Abolish Disease on yourself nevertheless, if you see the lock coming.

You haven't mentioned gear, if you are in blues/pve gear, yeah you get 2 shot. Once you start getting some decent gear, then you actually start mashing things up.

My priest in s7 started out with the blue starter PvP set, I was getting 2 shot by any class imaginable. But after I got the full PvP set, I could stand up against pretty much any class if played correctly.

As you mention that you just started battlegrounds, I am going to go on a hunch and say you have pretty much zero reilience. Just get used to getting 2 shot until you get better gear...

I like people with none to low resillience, they eat all of my 10+5k chimera crits. :3
So yeah, you need gear, and lots of it, to stop being twoshot.

Yeah, I have about 1200 resil, and warlocks now take THREE shots to kill me. Smiley: grin

It's worth getting lots of resilience just to **** off the rogues, though. I just stand there and giggle through their little stun/kidney shot/whatever opening thingie. I don't even pop pain suppression anymore. Then I'll dot them up and /pat them while throwing myself a shield/renew and watching them die.

Sometimes I will throw in some unnecessary jumps, because that's what the real PVPers do, right?

I do somewhat well with my Shadow Priest in PVP (well as well as any other class). With warlock I keep Fear ward up when available and you have 3 ways to interrupt his/her casting. You can also dispell some of the dots they cast on you don't forget about that.

Seriously though I think everybody hates a class that can chain cast fear from a distance. At least with a priest you gotta be right on top of them and have an annoying CD.
