You need to focus your gems. Nearly every class and spec uses one or two gem types, but you have nearly all of them at once.

Skip the socket bonuses. Put the Bold strength gems in everything, a Nightmare Tear in the best socket for a strength bonus (usually your helm) and get the Relentless Earthsiege Diamond meta gem.

And you need to enchant your helm, shoulders, and pants.

I agree. Make use of any spot to enchant. Also your gems. It's arguable what the best ones are, but I question your use of haste. Haste only speeds up your white (or default) hits, while strength or crit would help everything. Also you have too much hit rating. Your way maxed out on special attacks, so why bother improving just your white hits when they are maybe 20% of your attacks?

Just my 2 cents worth. There are plenty of people out there who know more than me. Hopefully they will respond too. Good luck

Your meta should be Chaotic Skyflare, not the RED. The RED is for Rogues and Kittys!

You will need 2 Sovereigns to match the meta requirements. Put them where a blue gem socket would get you a Strength bonus. If no slot is available for that, just anywhere is fine. That's about as far as you want to care about socket bonuses.

Gem everything else Bold.

After you do this, someone will probably tell you that you should be gemming for Armor Penetration. Just smile and nod and head over to Elitist Jerks for a thorough discussion on the matter before you start swapping gems around. You are far safer to just gem Strength for now.

Dump Hit Rating like it's a plague. 631 (19.3%) is beyond overkill. The basic goal is 5% (if you take the talent Precision, which you did). This puts you at the 8% cap to hit with special attacks. After that point, a little additional hit isn't a bad thing but you shouldn't be trying to gear for it. Other stats will increase your output more than additional hit.

That hit trinket has to die. Start farming this to pair with the Banner. After (AND ONLY AFTER) you have regemmed, start looking for ToC-25 pugs for this.

I don't see a head enchant but I do see that you're revered with Ebon Blade. Get out there and get it.

Expertise is low but not horrible. Swap your bracer enchant to this and that will get you closer. In 245+ gearing Expertise is stupid easy to come across so don't worry too much about it for now. Goal is 26 but not over.

Spec is ok... move Piercing Howl to Heroic Fury if you're going anywhere near Putricide. And Commanding Presence can move if you have a pally doing Might in the raid, try Unbridled Wrath. Still a crappy talent, but Commanding is wasted entirely with Might overwriting it. Oh, also Tactical Mastery to Iron Will unless you are stance-dancing a lot to rend/shatter. Which, to be honest, you shouldn't be yet.

See Dehlia in my signature below for my warrior alt and feel free to post any other questions.
edit: I should note that I realize I'm way over Expertise and that I proc above the hard cap for ArPen. Waiting on 3 pieces of gear that will adjust these to almost perfect. If only the hunters would stop rolling on Deathbringers...sigh.

Actually, fury warriors DO want the RED. Even though crit is better point for point than AGI, the Chaotic requires more crappy gems to be socketed in. Use RED, socket in a Nightmare Tear, and then use 10 STR/10 Crit in yellow sockets where the socket bonus is +6 STR or more, and 20 STR in all Red and Blue Sockets, except for the one where your Nightmare Tear goes.

Also, you're logged out in PvP gear, so I don't know if you have 2piece T9. If you do, gem 10STR/10 Crit in all yellow sockets that correspond with a socket bonus of +4 STR or more.

The enchants and stat prioritization that the people above me said is right on.

The RED vs. Chaotic debate: I've seen math supporting both sides and after 245 gearing I tend to agree that RED could perform better. But that's a pretty fine distinction and I didn't think that the OP needed a discussion on the finer points of meta-gem choices much in the same way that I didn't bring up the tipping point of Strength vs. Armor Pen or taking Imp Charge.

But yes, you are correct that a lot of fury warriors will see a benefit going with RED and if someone reading this is concerned about it for min-maxxing, they should sim / spreadsheet it. But in the end it's not a major variation in damage output for most players.

I know that the difference between the metas is minor, but it seemed that you were calling his decision to use the RED a poor gearing choice.

Yeah, re-reading what I posted I can see that. Sometimes when I type I'm assuming a lot about how it's being read. Or I'm just a bit tipsy and typing too fast to think it through.

My point was more about at his gear level at the time of posting the RED would not be as good for him (due to his Crit). Switching to the RED is more of a later in gear choice than an earlier one. Though I still find the difference of very little practical use outside of min/maxxing for hardmode progression.

Thanks for pointing that out and helping to clarify =)
