I have solo'd to 80 as Boomkin but would like to dual spec resto for instances, which I haven't done. I have no idea where to start. Can used any help.

Um, start with the druid 202 sticky resto section, there's lotsa decent stuff there, there's also a base build.
Keep Rejuvination on people. Keep multiple HoTs on the tank. HoTs cushion damage spikes, spot heal with Nourish or Regrowth. Nourish will be your best single target healing spell, when you have a HoT on the target (i.e. for the tank). Swiftmend is for minor emergencies. Tranquility is for when things get really dicey.
4 piece t9 bonus is good.
Get the triumph badge idol + idol of awakening.
Nourish, Wild Growth, Rapid Rejuvination, and Swiftmend are probably your strongest end-game glyphs. Some of the others get used with different healing styles and in different situations.
