OK I'm debating between my current spec:

and these two:

Now my spec has a TON of crit, and has all the imp buffs. I don't need pursuit of justice, I've never had trouble running in/out. The sub-prot is more gear dependent, but I think my gear is pretty much there if I want. Any opinions?

The thing that instantly strikes me is that the sub-ret spec is more for having fun in heroics with lots of crits and none of the prot tools. The 20 points in prot spec would be much better for main tank healing in a raid since you have a much more powerful sacred shield, more personal healing and divine sacrifice to combo with bubble/D. protection for huge boss aoe attacks. So it really depends what you actually find yourself doing more, heroics or raiding.

If you go with the sup-prot spec, i would probably change the third spec slightly to this:

No improved conc. aura, but improved blessing of wisdom and lay on hands (our holy pally said it was a very nice cooldown to use when we were doing things like festergut and blood princes). You don't really need improved devotion aura considering how common prot paladins are, and if there isn't one in the raid there will likely be a resto druid anyway for the healing buff.

Holy/Ret, you will benefit more from the increased crit.

Raid wall is nice but situational, and definitely not make or break for regular content. Overall you will benefit more from ret at least until you get around 2700-2800 SP unbuffed.

Thanks! I'll stick to ret then =)

Ret spec is also good if you are the only paladin (and heavy melee)in 10 man group for Improved BoM.
The Increased Running speed may help during learning Putrice + Sindra + Lich.

Well this is an alt and I'll be used to playing a character with no movement increase (my death knight) so any issues with learning how to move in and out of mechanics on my paladin won't be an issue, since I know the fight already. This is just my alt.
