Am I overacting to this new warrior ability? My reading of it seems to put us at a tremendous disadvantage when fighting warriors.

maybe... it's a DoT. We have to deal with DoTs. If we run, it's slightly worse than Rend. If we stand still, we get beat on with something else. I don't think it's going to change anything, really.
