How do you deal with a caster?Follow

So I've been pvp'ing a bit lately. I'm at around 800~ resilience (Surv). But one thing that doesn't get better is the fights against casters. How do you guys deal with a warlock? Dude just stands there draining life filling up his 30k hp. Or a frost mage who's always at 0 yards away from me. Not even gonna talk about Spriests.
Seems like most of the avoidance skills we have are great for melee but when it comes to casters they dont work too well.

Edit: Name's Parasight from Daggerspine

Wow, and I remembered hunters feeling like the ultimate anti-caster class.

I was going to launch into these old war sorties about, Shadowmeld, dash rank 3, Intimidation, Big red kitty, and incorporating spikes into the shot rotation. Then I realized this wouldn't be any help to you because:

-You aren't a Nelf
-You aren't BM
-This isn't 2008

That made me a sad panda. I want to play my hunter again now... Smiley: frown

*glances over the current survival tree* Boy you guys don't have a lot of good anti-caster options there do ya?

As survival there isn't alot of options indeed (hint: go MM <3), but for frost mages, be sure to use masters call and stay away from them. It isn't gonna win the fight, but it'll be helpful. Good Spriest will always eat you alive, but only in 1v1's, in arenas you eat them. Warlocks are always a PITA imo. Just try to stay at max range, so that you can interrupt spellcasting by just stepping backwards :), they'll lose cast time on a cast, which is almost ALL their dps, and you'll just lose one shot.

But I must say I'm really happy with MM, silencing shot and readiness are life savers vs frost mages, and you can atleast annoy spriests a little more.

All in all, you'll always have some troubles fighting casters (exluding arcane mages, healers, and moonkins) 1v1. But since duels don't grant you any profit, don't mind it. You'll still roflstomp bg's :D.
