I hope you warlock experts can either please reassure me or tell me what i'm doing wrong.
I have always played as a holy priest, so learning dps rotation/boss mechanics is very different for me, from focusing mainly on other players and their health bars.
I dinged 80 yesterday, and was lucky enough to get several drops from the ICC 5 mans last night, but I'm concerned my dps is low.
I do dungeons as Destruction 3/13/55 with Imp out, and generally use the following rotation:
CoE - Imm - Conflag - CB - Incin til Imm runs out then repeat (minus CoE)
My dps veers wildy between 1200 and 2k, and approx 15% of damage done. I usually run with at least 2 guildies doing the LFD, who have a GS of 5.5k or so. My GS is 3900. Mobs die very fast with the output from my fellow party members, and I often feel I'm not casting quickly enough before they die. I don't clip Immolate, and I begin my next cast when the current cast is 3/4 way through on my cast bar, trying not to lose casting time.
I think my gems/enchants are ok, I'm aware I need to replace the Frostsavage items which were made at 78 as a 'make-do' until I got upgrades at 80. I'm not sure which are the best minor glyphs but will read up and sort those out asap.
What I'm really asking, is whether my dps is average for my GS or whether you think it's low, and if so, what can I improve on. My armory link is below. Thank you.

A few points, and I couldn't judge your weapon/offhand since you logged out with the Spring Flowers equipped for NobleGarden:
- Your spec is OK, except you are really hurting yourself by not maxxing out Fire and Brimstone. Usually in the 3/13/55 spec the points going into Suppression are taken out of Soul Leech/Improved Soul Leech, or Destructive Reach. You won't need replenishment running heroics.
- Your JC is maxxed at 450, but you have no JC-only spellpower gems in your gear. I assume this is because you are still gearing up and are saving those to use when you upgrade to more suitable epics.
- You purchased the Wispcloak when you should have bought the Deathchill Cloak. Mp5 is not something locks gear or gem for, what with Lifetap/Dark Pact.
- Along the same lines, you are using your JC trinket in one slot, but you are equipping the Sapphire Owl when the Twilight Serpent would be much better for you. Passive hit rating and a spellpower bonus is MUCH more useful than an on-use mp5 boost.
The rest is going to come through gear. Your rotation for destro seems fine, just always be aware of your Chaos Bolt CD and cast that every time it is off CD. When gearing and gemming, aim for:
Hit rating (til capped) > Spellpower > Haste rating > Crit rating
but try to just maintain a good balance. Good luck!
EDIT: Oh yeah, and go visit Archmage Alvareaux in Dalaran to put Arcanum of Burning Mysteries on your headpiece.

Thank you very much for your reply. I have done everything you suggested, and will find a Deathchill Cloak asap.
