So for healing what is everyone using these days? Same old same old or trying something new that used to be bad?

I rarely have mana issues and just got some pure ice so I don't for see it being an issue in the near future.

Anyone else been thinking about meta gems? I ask because I got me a new hat. I'm all ready going to use a throughput gem.

I'll leave an armory link.

You'll probably want insightful, nowadays. Mana is never a problem anymore which means that any form of throughput > anything else. And 3% more heal on your crits is alrightish throughput. It's throughput all the way until one empowered renew/PW:S shield can instantly fully heal up your main tank - at that point there's no need to gear for anything anymore =P

I always use the Insightful, but I am in PVP gear and there is no such thing as too much mana for me. Otherwise I might be inclined to try one of the spellpower or crit ones.

They are awfully cheap these days. You could always take a few options and give them each a try-out night one week to decide.

Grats on the new hat. Smiley: smile

I am currently giving the Revitalizing a whirl. Although I haven't regemmed around it yet. Since the Insightful is the best regen pound for pound that you can get, it would make sense that I change the rest of my gear for throughput before I change the meta, but I'm lazy.

>.>

I should change all that intellect in the yellow slots to haste or crit before really stating that regen is not an issue. Also, since neither of those other metas require blue gems, I guess I should re-evaluate whether chasing the bonus in the gear is worth putting purples in blue slots for disc.

...

Sounds like a lot of work, maybe I'll have another donut.

You're cruel. I was planting all day yesterday. If anyone deserved a donut, it was me. I hate pla- what? This isn't the OT thread? Or my own personal facebook page, one of the ones where people give you TMI that's not even the uncomfortable-but-interesting kind, just boring? "I'm going to plant the basil now." "The basil is done now, I'm moving on to the thyme."

Fine, but could we at least talk about donuts some more?

Krispy Kreme is teh suck. I miss living in Boston and having a Dunkin' on every corner.

Ooooh - used to live by a Dunkin'...

The Vanilla creme with coffee frosting was always my favourite!

THANKS SOOOOOO MUCH TEACAKE!

Now I can wander about the house, just wanting something that I cannot have. Even Liquorice isn't appealing (and that is rare!)

I live near both a Dunkin' and a Krispy Kreme.

But my favorite are all the little hole-in-the-wall donut places nearby. I used to stop by and get donuts before marching band every Thursday (we had morning practice). I could get literally 3 dozen for 5 bucks.

They're so good, so fresh, and so cheap.

I have to come clean, The guilt is overwhelming. When I read your reply, I remembered that there was one blueberry cake donut left in the kitchen. As I sprinted off to get it, I bashed my thigh into the corner of a table. Dismissing the pain, I snatched up the donut and returned to post my reply, typing with one hand as I crammed the tasty confection down my craw with the other.

It wasn't a Dunkin, though, just a regular old blueberry donut from the little shop up the street. Interestingly enough, the coloring of the bruise on my thigh is quite similar to that of the donut in question.

There, I feel much better now.
