Well i just hit 80 and very happy. Well, now i am trying to run heroics and when i hit random i died a lot. I believe i have a good healer we have been together from the start. What I am wondering is if you all might be able to help me again with gear and spec wise. I have 539 def rating and i am told that's good but I'm still losing health as fast as can be. Now the first heroic it put me in was The old kingdom, I'm thinking about running THe Violet hold and Nexus thiers some gear there i could use. Well if you all don't mind helping me here i am on the armory.

A good start would be getting some better gems and enchants. The Prot Paladin tank guide can help you with all this. Buying a Titansteel Helm and maybe the boots should sort out your defense problems enough so that you can gem for more avoidance and stamina as well as giving you a meta socket until you can find some better gear.
Specwise I'd drop Guardian's favour and pick up Judgements of the Just. Lose one point in Spirital Attunement. I'd say the best thing to do is drop that point into SoComm (Ret tree) for trash tanking since your going to be running lots of heroics. You can afford to lose the points in Seals of the Pure. Putting 2 points into Reckoning and 3 into crusade will net you more overall threat generation especially when coupled with JotJ and SoComm.
Swap your Spirital Attunement Glyph for Divine Plea and try to keep this up whenever possible. You should get more mana return from Divine Plea than from SA if your using it right as well as mitigate more damage.
