Defense Cap 540 or 545? :: Free Realms

Hey guys, I've been in a bunch of groups recently that have been claiming that the defense cap for raids is 545. I was always told and guides have said that the defense cap for raids is 540. So, which one is it?

535 - Heroic
540 - Raid

The groups you are hearing are wrong. While it is not wrong to stack more defense than the "Crit-Proof" caps (535/540) it is generally considered less than optimal.

So having 555 doesn't make you wrong. It just means that some of that itemization could probably be better spent on other tanking stats.

Actually at shockingly early levels of gear (Uld / ToC levels), Defense is worth more avoidance than Dodge or Parry (Never block).
