quest for doomguard petFollow

ive been looking all over the place for the quest to get the doomguard with no avail. can someone tell me where it starts. thank you

I realized a few months ago I never actually got my Doomguard, so I undertook this questline. The NPC who starts it is Daio the Decrepit, who can be found in the NW part of the Tainted Scar in the Blasted Lands.

The two quests send you off to different parts of Kalimdor: you have to visit Dire Maul as well as Winterspring. At least you can also kill two birds with one stone and get your Crescent Key in Dire Maul as part of the Keymaster achievement. The elites you have to kill for both quests as well as the follow-up are trivial at level 80.

To minimize the travel time, port to a major city from Dalaran and use the portal there that takes you to the Dark Portal. This way you can pick up the quests, hearth back to Dalaran, and then port to Kalimdor.

Good luck, and don't forgot after your get your Ritual of Doom to pick up some demonic figurines at a reagent vendor!
