it was AWESOME.

Do that more often. It is so fun and full of lulz.

I have to make sure my Dk can do it easier after today's experience.

I think it happened before but it just popped in my brain so I made a post.

Raise Ally is such an underused and underrated ability. And most DK's just shove it to the side of their bars and forget about it. I make an effort to toss it on the idiot who died from Poison Nova.

When I join VoAs, it is the 1st thing I say before I gift the lazy bums with my Fish Feast. "When you die, be ready to zombie fight."
I've never had it used on my (cuz I'm usually the only DK, or the others don't use it)..so I assume it is a good tool for dead people to help out.

I'm the only DK that actually consistently uses it on a regular basis. A lot of the time people get upset thinking that it will interfere with their ability to get a battle rez. Either that or they view the fact that they died as an opportunity to go AFK. I'm really not sure if the other DKs even put it on their bar. That said, there are fights where even 1 person dead can mean that the entire raid has to wipe, in which case it's pretty pointless to use it. However I do get the "ZOMG THAT WAS FUN" reaction a lot so I use it whenever possible.

This happens more often then I'd like to say when I DO use it.

I've used Raise Ally on the same kind of idiot, only for them to not accept it and thus be wasted.

So, in pugs/5 mans, I don't even bother.

You can't 'not accept' it. You just get up as a ghoul, there's no confirmation box as with rezzes. That said, you probably suffer from the same problem as named up there already; people just go AFK when they die and do nothing with the ghoul. It is pretty horrible, as it can be quite a decent skill (1K DPS is the least the ghoul should be able to pump out, which is definitely noticeable in most fights).

Hmm. Guess I'm just used to letting people sit there pondering what they/tank/healer did wrong then. lol

I did it a few times when I would run with my brother who was undergeared for some of the content for a while.... he hated it because to him it just added insult to injury. I would always laugh and do a /tell macro with it saying "Not good enough to fight for yourself yet? well then, come and fight for me now biotch!"

Maybe that's why he didn't like it.....
