You might've wanted to add that to the older post, but whatever.

Anyway - I like this a lot more, 10% on CoH is pretty decent. I just don't like it enough ^_^

OK, let me elaborate on this a bit from a Disc perspective. Disc are considered tank healers for the most part. I realize that a Disc on raid heals (I have done it) can be quite beneficial- I can do a mean shield spam =), but for the purpose of this example, leave the Disc priest where he is supposed to be, on the tanks.

For the most part, the Disc priest will be keeping WS on 2-3 tanks for most fights. He can also elect to toss shields out on the raid (IA mages, for one) from time to time on open cds. If he is tossing out 10k shields on three tanks during a fight, the benefit of the 4-pc bonus is 6k worth of shields per minute. Not even an extra shield worth of protection. This is hardly something to be excited over.

I would rather see WS dropped to 12 seconds for the 4-pc bonus, now we're talking about a decent bonus!

In case you didn't notice, I'm fairly upset about this.

Yeah, it had to happen.
Hunter 4pc was good and I can't have multiple toons who want a 4pc, just isn't possible.


And this should be close to 10 or 20% for it to be good.
But even then it's not an exciting thing, a chance to proc haste when you cast a shield or circle of healing is probably not much better, but much more exciting.

I guess priests are still paying for the T8 4pc bonus. That is the only 4pc bonus from WotLK that was worth the effort (at least for Disc, Holy got kind of left out on that one, too), the rest are just so... blah

I look at the other healer's bonuses and think they are so sexy. Their bonuses allow them to change their style a bit to match the bonus. (Druid's bonus doesn't change their style of casting, just target selection.) Maybe priests are just too cumbersome to play for any other complexities to be added. Just give them a bit more of what they already have and you can't go wrong.

I was doing Rotface as disc earlier today and noticed this as well. At one point someone got low on hit points (she was disconnected and standing in the slime, but that aside), and it went down like this;
"Oh, I'll quickly throw them a shield!"
*Cannot cast that spell*
"Right, Weakened soul... Penance then!"
*That spell is not ready yet*
*ElexÃa has died.*

I think disc is the only healer spec where your prime abilities have a cooldown, and that can be royally annoying at some points. Which is why the first set bonus was close to perfect. It did gave you that additional proc, but instead of adding even more complexity to priest healing, it played with those royally annoying cooldowns.
