HI
decided to switch my priest to disc to check it out...
And reading the tooltip on Rapture,it seems like it should give me some manareturn...but whenever my shield goes,I get no mana whatsoever...
Am I reading it wrong,or does it not work? help a noob out here please ;)

It could be that you're trying to get mana when it doesn't give any.
Rapture only returns mana under two conditions:
- When something pops it through dealing more damage than it can absorb
- When someone dispels it
If you just, say let the shield wear off, there won't be any mana coming back from that.

That is what I did when I checked it...figures :D
