I'm a resto druid for raiding and have the "shriveled heart" offhand. According to Rawr, Lightbane Focus is a huge upgrade for me. Basically since I don't 25 man, it's the BIS for offhand in 10 mans (so sayeth Rawr) as our highest progression is TOTC normal.
It dropped last night in TOTC and I rolled highest on it. My guild gave me crap over it because +hit is a waste for healers and assumed it was a DPS offhand. So, caving to peer pressure, I gave it to a mage.
Still, every way I look at it, it was an upgrade for me as the other stats on it are better.
Am I missing something?

Naw it's a good item, RAWR is right about that. The 45 haste makes up for the fact the hit is useless. But I'd still probably pass on it for a DPS class that needed it.
Enlightenment drops from ToC-10 as well, and may well be better than your main-hand/off-hand combo. Plus you don't have to fight with the DPS over the +hit thingy. ;-)
