They're not buffing white damage, but the physical component of Scourge Strike:
o Unholy
+ Scourge Strike: Now deals 70% weapon damage, plus 12% of physical damage done as shadow damage for each of the death knight's diseases on the target. The net result should be larger strikes with no diseases present, while maximum damage with all diseases applied to the target should stay the same.

Ok, well I got the Needle Encrusted scorpion... but let me tell you... I'm about to scream with not having the Banner of Victory drop. Ok I shouldn't say that.. I've seen it twice (in about 26 runs), and lost both times.
Holy crap is this one going to be a be a pain :)
I did notice an increase in DPS with the scorpion though, so can't complain. I average 3.5-4k now.
No luck with the Tyrannical Beheader though, gah. Although I did finally get the achievement for nobody getting hit with a falling ice rock while running through the tunnel in PoS lol.
BTW, hunters that can use MD properly on the trash pulls after Ick/Krick rock... that is all.

Finally got the Banner lol. Phew, so sick of regular ToC it isn't even funny. I didn't count, but I think it took between 25-35 runs.

In regards to replacement of T9 with T10, can anyone comment on the trade of between losing the 4 piece bonus of T9 versus having the T9 2 piece bonus and the T10 2 piece bonus?

If I'm understanding what I'm reading in the EJ thread I linked, 2pc T10 bonus by itself isn't worth losing the 4pc T9, but as your gear gets better, the gap between the two closes(and that's when I'm not taking the upgrade in stats into consideration). My guess would be it's worth switching when you no longer have any pieces of upgrades in 5 mans/triumph badges. Then again, I'm really just guesstimating here. You are probably at a point where it's a good idea to get Rawr and start seeing where things actually stand for your current situation.
Bleh ok, I will have to mess with Rawr when I get home and try to figure that program out. I'm not aiming for absolute max and squeaking out every last inch of dps (yet). I'm just trying to make sure I don't have any glaring flaws in my general gear, talent, or skills being used. Thanks for the help and guidance.
