Questionning about stats... Follow

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering something about stats for the end game playing... For sure it is written in guides which stats you should look for as a shaman for your specific spec, but not more. So I was wondering if you guys could help me figuring out how much of which stats you should need to be good to do some end game stuff - raids, heroics, etc. (ToC, IC, etc.) !?

First, as a Resto shaman, how much Bonus Damage, Intellect, Crit Chance, Hit Rating, Mana Regen & Haste Rating should be good for end game playing ?

Next, as an Ele shaman, how much Hit Rating, Spell Damage, Crit Chance, Intellect, Mana Regen, ... should be good for end game playing ?

And, finally, as an Enh shaman, how much Attack Power, Crit Chance, Hit Rating, Agility, ... should be good for end game playing ?

I know it can be vague, but I would just like to know approximately, "generally"... Hope you guys can help me !

Thank you very much! :)

It really depends on what you mean by "end game" playing. I'll address resto since thats what I raid at but I can venture a guess at ele since theyre so similar.

It's pretty easy to heal heroics nowadays with the op tanks and everything else. I started healing them on WoTLK release with about 1400 +heals. ToC I think I was sitting around 2400 +heals when it started. And ICC 2800 +heals.

The haste and crit and mp5 will come along with your heal gear, those stats aren't important for gear checking. (They are very important stats but focus just on your +heals to get a sense as to whether you're ready.) You don't need hit as resto (except in very specific circumstances that you don't have to worry about right now). Your priorities are +heals/haste/crit/mp5/int. Again, most of the gear is well itemized and if you focus on just your +heals everything else will come along. Gem for haste when you can. (Haste becomes arguably more important than +heals with very good gear.) There is so much mp5 lying around that you really don't have to worry about it. It will come with the gear.

Elemental is basically like resto except you don't need mp5 and you do need hit. The hit cap is 368 for raid bosses. Get as close to that as you can because all the +damage in the world doesnt matter if your spell misses. For heroics it's far, far lower -- around 100ish -- so don't sweat it there. I'd say same +damage numbers as for resto above. Both are with the appropriate self-buff, of course (earthliving weapon for resto and flametongue for ele).

Can't address enhance, havent played it in ages. From what I've seen you want roughly the same hit rating as you would in elemental.
