surv questionFollow

hello everyone, got a bit of a dilemma and hoping you can help with it.

unfortunately..a few days ago I had my account hacked(same day as my hunter gained lvl 80 >.<). I called and got it back, but the damage was done...my gear was gone. Ive spent the last few days regearing what I could..and did a pretty good job so far. I spent lvls 1-80 as BM to make it easier..I got dualspec when I gained 80 and set my second spec for survival as I have heard that it is better for dps than BM.

My dilemma is that for the life of me, I cannot seem to make my survival spec out dps my BM spec. I have just recently got my gear back to a level where I feel comfortable doing dungeons again and want to be able to do the best I possible.

Priorities Im using for survival is Explosive - Black Arrow - Serpent Sting - Aimed - Steady (Kill shot as often as able)
Glyphs Kill shot - serpent sting - Explosive Shot


Am I doing something wrong? or does survival pick up at a certain point such as longer fights/gear level etc?

If this is posted in the stickies then please forgive my foolishness in posting..I looked through them and did not see anything about it....I plan on reading them again, I wanted to ask just in case.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
