I changed my mind about what offpieces I want. After I bought two of them. One was less than 2 hours past the refund expiration so I submitted a ticket just in case. The GM told me to take a long walk off a short pier and WTF do I think there's a refund period for? 90k honor painfully ground out in battlegrounds with morons down the drain. Smiley: oyvey

On the bright side, I've made the controversial decision to go all out MP5 offpieces with my Mooncloth set pieces (once I have all the hit I want). Crit is nice. Haste is even nicer. But not running out of mana is nicest of all. OOM is my number one cause of death.

I was doing the weekly raid this evening. We had just finished Flame Leviathan and moved on to Razorscale. Then it happened. My shields didn't seem to casting as they should, and heals weren't working right. People weren't dieing, but things definitely were off. Then it hit me. I was in my shadow spec.

As a reminder, I've added a power aura indicator of when I am on my shadow spec.

I just figure I'm going to die every time I run out of mana and that's ok. In my experience, mp5 as a pvp Disc priest seems ineffective to counter the mana drain thing, and the only time I blow through mana is if the battle is intense and prolonged. Either way, either we win and I drink, or I die.

How has mp5 worked out for ya Tea?

Dunno yet, I haven't had a chance to gear up. The queues are outrageous right now; lucky if I get 2 marks an hour. At 52k per piece I think it's going to be while.

I saw an MP5 setup the other day that someone on AJ had linked and s/he had over 800 MP5. Holy crap.

This makes sense. I only do arena very occasionally and very grudgingly though, and when I choose PVP gear I'm planning mainly around battlegrounds, which are by definition prolonged, though not necessarily intense. Smiley: lol I really can't wait until Cata when battlegrounds become legit and I might be able to find people to play with who don't feel they need to charge the Stables. Keeping my fingers crossed that Blizz comes up with a way for you to organize PUGs for the rated BG's, similar to LFG, since I don't have any guild to speak of.
