I've decided I'm sick of PvE as progression on my server is difficult with a gearscore thats unobtainable unless you've already run the raid you're trying to gear up for. Soo, I wan't to start PVP properly, but I am at a loss as I've never PVP'd at top end before.
I literally have no idea where to start, all my previous experience is WSG/AB/AV!
I'm thinking I need a 1.8k rating right? For all the gladiator gear, but what is it bought with and whatnot?
If I'm missing a guide outlining all this then feel free just to slap me and point me in its direction.

Well first place to start in my opinion would be to run some heroics to get the best weapons you can without raiding, since you seem to be agains this. Then you just need to start hitting up bgs and Wintergrasp until you can obtain the best obtainable pvp gear that only requires honor.(Which I believe as of today will be Furious)
This is pretty much a must if you don't have decent pvp gear to be successful in arenas. Also start keeping an eye out for good partners if you don't have any friends in mind for doing so. Rogue mage priest is still incredibly strong from the sounds of it and any combination of the three for 2's is pretty viable.

You can get Furious from Triumph Badges too.
