Lately (since 3.3) I've been getting a lot more occasions when the pet and mob go round and round while vanishing into the distance. If my shot lands before the pet gets there then they go round-and-round towards me. Frequently ending up behind me.

Is this just me or has the pathing gone crazy again?

Same here, hasn't happened so much on my lock as my hunter. Sometimes I get so annoyed by it I just put my pet on passive and try to burn down the mob before it can get back to me.

I've got two solutions to this problem. Pull with concussive shot so you're pet is moving faster then the mob. It usually sorts itself out pretty quick. Another method I use is putting pet on passive then send pet to attack again. Thats always sorted itself out for me.

I haven't played my hunter too much lately, but I can tell you that for tanking, mob pathing has been horrible for a patch or two.

I usually hit follow, then a second later hit attack, that seems to clear them up so they don't crisscross each other.
