I'm gemming / enchanting for AP as people suggest, but I'm noticing a few problems:
-AP keeps going up but crit chance isn't. I think crit is just as important (at 39% now, that's low to me).
-I read haste will come with gear, well I'm almost at 2700 and gear has only given me 182 (7%). Sacrifice a few AP gems for
haste or keep waiting? I either see shamans with all haste gems, or all AP gems. whos doing it right?

I'm Ready to redo all my enchants and gems. I got 11 gem slots to work with. I was going to go for haste but I want to confirm with you guys. Any other critizism is welcome.

Edit: I deleted a question. Found the answer somewhere else...

I just traded all of my haste gems for AP a little while ago. I'm still sitting at about 23% melee haste unbuffed. I've been using the elemental relic totem since tier 9 (and have since upgraded to the T10 one) which adds even more. I'm also still using Shard of the Crystal Heart as one of my trinkets which is the equivalent of a free Potion of Speed every 2 minutes.

We don't really see haste starting to add up on gear until T9. T10 seems to be a bit more about crit, but the haste is still there. If you're just starting to fill in your T9 pieces now, you'll start to see the haste slowly adding up. AP is a great stat for shaman but haste is more "rounded". Haste gives us more MW procs and more FW hits as well as making us get more out of the AP we have. That's why haste was/is a favored stat for augments up to a certain point.
