I couldn't find a solid answer anywhere so I come to you guys.
I am a fairly geared rogue ( 2950 on WoW-Heroes ) and I run with both Mut and Combat spec ( depending on the situation). I was just wondering, since I will not be getting chance to do 25man ICCs or 10man HICCs, and if I did, the chances of winning a roll for the mark is not too high, Is it still worth getting the T10 gear even though I will not be getting a chance to upgrade those pieces with the marks that drop from those raids?
Should I just get the 264 gear from the vendor and get the crafted feet and legs?
Is the set bonuses really worth missing out on the stat increases from the high lvl gear?

the new VOA boss drops 2 pieces of T10 as well (the lvl 264 i believe)

I have the spreadsheet setup on one of my home computers, but crapped out on my and I just posted this on my friend's computer while I was visiting.
This subject came up between us because I believed that all the increases of the stats and the extra sockes on some of the pieces seems it would be better than 30 extra energy evey 30 seconds.
I guess i'll save up some more badges and get some of the pieces that I can fit into some to the places i still need to replace.

T10 pants and gloves are must, as for the chest either the vendor one or the one that drops in 25man airship battle. As for shoulders and head, the ones from 25 man are a must if your mute

Hm...last I heard 4 piece T10 with the badge chest was the optimal set up. May have changed though.

I been running Combat spec for about 95% of the time and the lack or ArPen on the t10 items is really not pushing me towards getting them at this point in time.
Combat spec has been really good to me lately, especially on fights where I need to keep switching targets or running around trying not to get hit. And the massive bursts of damage at the begining of the fight is sweet.
I got the chest to drop in 10ICC,so there is 1 piece that i wont need for a bit, and except for replacing my Bloodfang Hood with that uglyass T10 head piece, nothing else will really be worth replacing at this time.
Just going to have to get 2 set of gear. One for Mut and one for Combat.
I know numbers dont lie, but I just can't see the extra 30 energy every 30 seconds being that huge of a DPS boost over the raw stat increases on the 264 badge items and the 264 crafted items. Especially if the chance to upgrade them is going to be tiny.
Well, in anycase, I am just going to save up more badges for the T10 set for my Mut build.

I have been contemplating the same really...I am not in a raiding guild and it is hard to find a guild that is recruiting that doesn't raid all through the week. I really only play on weekends. My cloak sucks (Ice Striker's) and I have been eyeballing the one from Frost as a huge upgrade. Everyone I see says go for the T10 2 pc though, so I guess I will keep putting it off and doing daily randoms and weekly raid quests as available.
